In this video Kevin Marsh introduces his work and discusses his most exciting current projects.

Kevin Marsh is an expert in child malaria and Director of the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme in Kilifi, Kenya. He has worked at the forefront of world malaria epidemiology for over 20 years. He spoke to A C Grayling about the challenges of fighting tropical disease in the heart of Africa, and his reasons for optimism in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
